1. Saint-Nazaire: festive trance at the Vip

Samifati & Transe Gnawa Express present at Vip, Saturday November 9, a captivating fusion of gnaoua music, electronic music and captivating visuals, creating a raw, festive and immersive trance.

A collaboration between the duo Samifati and talented Moroccan artists Maâlem Amine Bassi, Hamouda Benzaid and Ahmed Labnoua.

On stage, nothing is fixed, everything is played live: traditional songs, guembri, krakebs mingle with modular synthesizers and Sami’s analog drum machine.

Axel’s visuals played live enhance this powerful universe, with colors and textures inspired by the Medina of Essaouira, steeped in history.

2. Saint-Lyphard: a zero waste festival

The 4th “Goal Zero Waste” exhibitionorganized by Cap Atlantique La Baule-Guérande agglo, returns to Lyphardaise land this Saturday at the Espace Les Coulines in Saint-Lyphard.

On the program: information stands and demonstrations from the agglomeration and around twenty local stakeholders will be present to inform and support visitors on good practices in waste reduction with workshops and free activities all throughout the day.

Free exhibition and open to all from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Espace des Coulines in Saint-Lyphard. On-site catering will be offered.

3. Saint-Nazaire: a talk at the Vip

A little chat in the corner of the mezza bar with drummer Antoine Saint-Jean, what do you think?

The Vip mezzanine is transformed into interview and drum studio. Antoine Saint-Jean (Hocus Pocus and C2C but also Akhenaten, Oxmo Puccino, Keziah Jones…) will speak with Cécile Rolland (producer of the podcast À la Baguette!) on her passion for the drums and the stages that shaped her playing.

On the program: discussion around the relationship with the instrument and creation, the requirements of the studio and live, musical references, projects, etc. All this in a relaxed atmospherewith the idea of ​​giving some tips and, why not, encouraging vocations to play drums!

Saturday, November 9, at 8:30 p.m., the Forum in Nivillac (Morbihan) welcomes After, pour New Skinhis latest album of which she is responsible for the arrangement, direction and production.

A member of the Chedid tribe (her first name is Anna), she created her stage name from the last two letters of her first name added to the first two of her last name.

With her warm and suave voice, alone on the grand piano and with the help of synthesizers, Anna Chedid therefore delivers a personal testimony hereintimate, matured in the Cévennes and Drôme, imbued with jazz and oriental influences.

5. Savenay: a jazz festival

Let’s go 8th edition of the jazz festival, Si On Jazz’ay organized by the Figurative Word. The festival will stop at La Chapelle-Launay, Prinquiau and Le Temple-de-Bretagne but especially in Savenay, at the Equinoxe hall, Saturday November 9 and Sunday November 10.

Saturday November 9 from 3:30 p.m.: musical afternoon with Watt who will offer a journey through the history of rock. In the first part, place at the Boîte à Musique, a Savenaisian music school which with 11 young musicians under the direction of Jacques Charrier will offer a varied repertoire of jazz standards and a surprise finale between the Watts and the young people of the BAM. From 8:30 p.m., François Poitou & Pumpkin. A meeting between modern jazz and French rap, a successful union, an energetic and breathtaking result (price €18).

Sunday November 10 at 3:30 p.m.: Swing Song Quartet with the choice of the role of the soloist, the trombone. Then to follow, Atlantic Jazz Club, a refined quintet, a very local group composed of essentially Savenaisian musicians, navigating the musical waters of swing (price €18).
