Performed during the EPSM Charcot cultural festival on Wednesday June 12, 2024, Blacklisted an object theater piece by the Compagnie Kervignacoise, Le Septième Tiroir, is heading to the next Avignon festival. “It is selected with 17 other pieces to be presented, off-site, to entertainment professionals in Avignon. She will be spotted, we hope,” rejoices Elisabeth Trœstler, actress and kingpin of Le Septième Tiroir. Spotted on Breton soil, this creation, where acting and object theater resonate, is already there. “Created in 2018, the show performed well in Brittany. He was just stopped in his tracks by the Covid crisis.” Since then, he has regained his health and is still gaining new visibility.

Like child’s play…

The show given on Wednesday at the EPSM in Caudan and this Friday in Kervignac, conquered the world. “A great moment of poetry, a beautiful message of tolerance, we need it at the moment”, blurted out a spectator from Quimper. Between theater and poetic documentary, Elisabeth Trœstler gives life and words to objects. Like a child’s game…

“I use toys. They talk to each other, interact in a gallery of colorful characters. I am talkative by nature, but I also like to tell stories through silences and diversions.” Like these little two-way street signs. In another grammar, that of diverted words, associations of ideas “The barrier wonders whether it should protect or separate, the fridge wonders about the petition hanging on its door… These objects are ingredients in the story of two girls. One grew up in a caravan, the other in a pavilion. But in their village, this friendship is disturbing…”

This Friday June 14, 2024, at 8:30 p.m., Blacklisted, a show directed by Anne Marcel; lighting by Thomas Civel and music by Dimitri Costa. For all ages, from 6 years old, at the Kervignac Patronage Hall.
