After the fencing competitions during the recent Olympic Games, here is the return of the Photo fair. Finally renovated, but with heating problems giving it the atmosphere of a giant fridge during the day reserved for professionals and VIPs, the Grand Palais once again welcomes, just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, the largest world trade fair dedicated to photography – we come across the stands of 240 exhibitors, galleries, publishers and institutions, from 34 countries.

After three editions at the Grand Palais Ephémère, built on the Champ-de-Mars, the 27th edition of Paris Photo takes advantage of the increased spaces of the Grand Palais, this imposing building erected for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, and whose spectacular upper gallery is finally accessible again. Against 12,000 m2 in the temporary structure, the fair this year covers an area of 21,000 m2. Hence the possibility of proposing a new section, called “Voices”, which has the particularity of being curated.
