Which chip shop succeeds Ben and Nati, the winners of the first season of the show “Les Meilleures Friteries”? After a tough finale, here is the lucky one.
This year, 12 friturists from all walks of life competed for six weeks to win the title of “The Best Friterie”. To judge them, a jury of experts made up of the couple Patrick and Fabienne de Corte, chef Arnaud Delvenne and host David Antoine. At their side, an extraordinary Fan Bus: 20 of the biggest fries lovers in the kingdom who made their voices heard.
Chip shops in the running
Among the selected chip shops, six chip shops competed for the Best Chip Shop prize. Namely: “Top Frites” in Namur, “Le Casse Dalle” in Liège, “Le Tram de Boitsfort” in Brussels, “Patatou” in Brabant-Wallon, “Friterie de la “Croix Blanche” in Luxembourg and finally, “Fred Fritonomie” in Hainaut.
After two events which strained the nerves of the friturists, victory was decided between the “Patatou”, “Friterie de la Croix Blanche” and “Top Frites” chip shops.
It is finally “Patatou” in Brabant-Wallon which succeeds Ben and Nati, the winners of the first season of the show “Les Meilleures Friteries”.
