The singer appeared at the Parisian Grand Rex cinema after the screening of her concert film “Nevermore”.
A surprise that delighted the singer’s fans. Mylène Farmer was invited to the Grand Rex, this Thursday, November 7, after the screening of the film Nevermorerecording of his last tour.
As can be seen on videos published on social networks and on the Grand Rex’s X account, the star appeared on a balcony of the large projection room of the famous Parisian cinema, before receiving a standing ovation from the spectators.
Unique evening
The feature film was broadcast during a single evening this Thursday in nearly 500 cinemas across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
Nevermore 2023 is a 14-stadium tour given by the 61-year-old singer, to defend her latest album, The Holdcarried by the single Forever. It ended with three dates at the Stade de France on September 27, 28 and October 1.
The film Nevermore was directed by François Hanss, who directed several clips of the singer (I return your love, Innamoramento, Green Ray…) as well as most of his concert recordings. The recording was made during Mylène Farmer’s concerts at Groupama Stadium in Lyon on June 23 and 24, 2023.
The latest collaboration between the director and the singer, Mylène Farmer Live 2019was also broadcast in 613 cinemas (including 325 in France) during a single evening. 155,000 spectators flocked to the theaters, allowing the singer to beat her own record established in 2014 with Timeless 2013 Le Film.
