It is a major element of the leisure space under construction at the entrance to the Hellfest festival site in Clisson, in the Nantes vineyard. Hellcity, a brasserie restaurant with 600 seats, will open there not in January, but in February 2025, specifies Ben Barbaud. This is where the festival beer, Hellfest IPA, created by the brewer Mélusine, will be brewed. There will also be products related to the Guardian of Darkness, this giant chimera signed by the Nantes company La Machine, which festival-goers discovered during the last edition. Here as for the festival, “the urban area imposes enormous sanitation constraints on us. We have an evacuation network that is barely calibrated for a residential house,” regrets Ben Barbaud, for whom “the role of elected officials should be to support us and not to make our task ever more difficult”, Above all “when we are delighted to see the opening of a new company which will create fifty jobs”.
