The city of Assomption unveiled the development plans for Place Karl-Tremblay on November 6, during a press conference.

It is a place in homage to the singer, but also to offer a place of celebration to citizens.

Place Karl-Tremblay will be designed in the image of the artist with ecological and inclusive infrastructure. According to the mayor of Assomption, Sébastien Nadeau, it was a challenge to make a place that looks like this:

Several nods will be made to the Dashing Cowboys either through the titles and lyrics of their songs or the symbols of their journey.

The town of Assomption will launch a crowdfunding campaign and all the funds collected will be used to run and promote this site.

Work will begin in March or April 2025 with the site opening in fall 2025.
