Who says arrival of frostsaid he wanted to comfort food and why no cheese?

That’s good. A Cheese Fest is to be held in Strasbourg, Place Hans-Jean Arp, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. We’ll tell you more about the event organized by Éphémère food festival.

Raclette, fondue, aligot and much more

On site, we can find around fifteen stands. With well-known cheese specialties such as raclette, fondue, aligot and poutine. Alan Cado, organizer, specifies that “there will be vegetarian options for those who wish.”

But also a little more original like the Bahn Mi de Véro which will offer baguettes flambés. Or even mexican raclette tacos by Belle Taco.

THE sweet tooth will be able to enjoy churros, crepes, cheesecakespana cotta and tiramisu. For drinks, a local microbrewery will be present, as well as a coffee shop.

“Our love for raclette”

This is the second year that the Éphémère food festival company has organized a cheese fest in Strasbourg.

The idea came, quite simply, “from our love for raclette. We realized that there were no events around cheese,” says Alan Cado.

For those who cannot attend this weekend, you will have to be patient. The organizer announces that the “next food truck festival will take place in in April.”
