The French film Werewolves enjoys resounding success on Netflix. The adventure comedy starring Franck Dubosc and Quebec actress Suzanne Clément ranked this week at the top of the most viewed non-English-language films on the platform, garnering more than 12 million views around the world.

Released on Netflix on October 23, the feature film adapted from the popular board game The werewolves of Thiercelieux had already recorded a great start during its first week on the platform, accumulating more than 27 million hours viewed.

Directed by François Uzan (one of the writers of the series Lupin), Werewolves relates the adventures of a blended family who are thrown into the Middle Ages, in a world populated by werewolves, after opening an old deck of cards found at the bottom of an attic.
In addition to Suzanne Clément and Franck Dubosc, the film stars Jean Reno, Bruno Gouery and Grégory Fitoussi.
