Some of them are attending their very first concert, but these schoolchildren are not the only ones live a unique experience. For French pop group MPL, performing in front of children is far from their comfort zone. For 45 minutes, the musicians attacked their usual repertoire in front of a novice audience.

“We surprised by these 510 children who were there. We are not used to doing concerts for children. We are used toparent in front of an audience who knows our songs” explains the singer of the group MPL, Cédric Bouteiller, “lto they have peaks energy in the middle of songs calm, the moments when normally everyone world is dancing, suddenly they are all in talking.”

“But there had quite a bit of very beautiful moments where suddenly, it can be seen that they capture the emotion of piece, they fit in. It is very surprising because it is energies that fluctuate in a way very unpredictable. So for us it was still…; we went out saying “what’s coming of itself passer ? “

Cédric, Manu, Arthur, Julien and Andreas formed the group MPL in 1995 with their first album “Ma Pauvre Lucette”. They released their 3rd opus in 2022 and are now hitting concert halls with some success. Their official biography presents their as “swirls of guitars, bass and electronic beats. MPL makes the music of its time while blurring the lines of time. A group of five endearing boys who shout their feelings in the face of storms.”

Their latest album, Bonhomme, released in 2022, questions masculinity and the affirmation of their sensitivity.
