Accused of repeated rapes via his ex-wife’s lawyer, Nekfeu denies. It lifts the veil on a complicated divorce over custody of their child.

Sunday evening, the ex-wife of rapper Nekfeu published a press release through her lawyer, Me Florence Fekom, accusing the artist of repeated rape and violence during their relationship. She claims to want to file a complaint for psychological, sexual and physical violence that she says she suffered over a period of four years. The lawyer states that she has solid evidence to support these accusations.

In response, Nekfeu, whose real name is Ken Samaras, responded, also through his lawyer, Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard. The rapper completely refutes the accusations, describing his ex-wife’s press release as “completely false” and ensuring that previous complaints for violence filed by the latter were dismissed by the prosecution.
A child custody dispute
The situation seems marked by tensions around custody of the couple’s 3-year-old child. In March 2024, a court awarded custody to the rapper, a decision challenged on appeal. Nekfeu accuses his ex-wife of having repeatedly failed to bring their child back to him.
The French artist says he obtained custody of his son in March 2024, after his ex-wife attempted “financial blackmail” against him, reports 20 minutes. According to him, she would not have supported the divorce proceedings. Nekfeu says he is “humiliated” and “all the more saddened” by these accusations, because he says he believes “firmly in the need to make the voices of women victims of violence heard.”
The young father adds that he provided evidence to the police, including messages and testimonies from relatives of his ex-wife, to demonstrate, according to him, the unfounded nature of the accusations.
Disappearance of the child
Furthermore, via his lawyer, the musician reveals in particular that his ex-wife was arrested this Sunday evening “for the worrying disappearance” of his 3-year-old son, at the very moment when the press release implicating him appeared, reports 20 minutes.
According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, three complaints for violence filed by the ex-wife between September 2023 and May 2024 were dismissed. An investigation nevertheless remains open for “for forgery and use of forgery since May 2024” concerning documents that the rapper would have submitted to previous procedures. (jah)
