This year, for Halloween, at the Lenval hospital in Nice, funny characters appear and disappear through the windows of the establishment. The children have no doubt, it’s Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Captain America who appear and say hello to them. Located in Nice, Lenval hospital is an establishment specializing in pediatric care. Every year, to entertain children, superheroes make a comeback.
The Lenval Foundation is accustomed to this type of operation intended to entertain children who are often locked in their rooms and their pathologies. Last Halloween, superheroes launched into the air to the delight of children amazed by the spectacle.
I loved it, it was very pretty. I’ve seen Spiderman, Ironman, Hulk and Deadpool. It was so beautiful.

After days, months, even years of hospitalization, this magical interlude offers a real moment of respite.
“These are complicated conditions for children of all ages. We are all fans of superheroes, so I thought it was great”adds a father.
For one day, getting away from their daily lives, no longer thinking about care, is essential for hospitalized children. “It’s important because otherwise it’s complicated for them. This entertainment does them good”explains Livia Hermann Nurse at Lenval hospital.
A few hours before their spectacular descent, eight rope access technicians from a company specializing in buildings set up their equipment.
This is a time consuming installation, quite complex but worth it.

It’s finally the big leap, a habit for these professionals. “It doesn’t scare me, because I’m Superman and Superman isn’t afraid of anything,” says one of the rope access technicians. A memorable memory for the hundred sick children of the foundation.
