Rapper Nekfeu, whose real name is Ken Samaras, is accused by his ex-partner of rape and violence, indicates a press release published Sunday on social networks by the complainant’s lawyer, reveals BFMTV this Monday, November 4, 2024. The rapper reacted this Monday afternoon, through his lawyer, denouncing “an entirely false and defamatory press release”.
“A real hell”
“My client reported to the police services acts of psychological, sexual and physical violence committed during their relationship, that is to say for almost four years”we can read in this press release shared Sunday evening by Me Florence Fekom, the lawyer for the rapper’s ex-wife.
The ex-wife would live “a real hell” and would suffer from “severe post-traumatic stress”. “After years of living in silence and fear, she no longer has any other choice but to share this matter publicly, given the differential judicial treatment from which she has suffered for several months”specifies the press release.
Several complaints filed on both sides
Contacted by West Francethe Paris prosecutor’s office confirms the filing of several complaints by the rapper’s ex-partner, including one for spousal rape in December 2022, but specifies that this complaint was closed without further action in September 2023 “on the grounds that the offense was not sufficiently characterized”. The Paris prosecutor’s office adds that the applicant did not appear “at none of the eight meetings offered to him by the judicial police service designated to investigate”.
A procedure is still underway, however. “for forgery and use of forgery since May 2024”concerning “certificates provided in previous procedures” by the rapper, according to the public prosecutor.
The prosecution also specified that Nekfeu for his part initiated several proceedings against his ex-partner for non-representation of children between 2022 and 2024. If two were closed, the ex-partner must be judged at the end of January for two other complaints.
“Malicious intentions”
This Monday, in a press release sent to theAFP by his lawyer, Me Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, the rapper firmly denies the statements of his ex-wife, evoking “an entirely false and defamatory press release” published on X by the latter’s lawyer.
“These accusations have already been dismissed […] and come back at the very moment when she was arrested last night for the worrying disappearance of my 3 year old son”said the 34-year-old artist.
For him, after a previous “financial blackmail”this is an attempt “in desperation to sully (his) honor in public”. “I am all the more saddened and disgusted as I firmly believe that we must redouble our efforts to make the voices of women victims of violence heard”continues the artist.
In the years 2008-2010, Nekfeu became known within the groups 1995 and S-Crew. The rapper then released his first solo album in 2015 entitled Feu. In 2016, he received a Victoire de la Musique in the “Urban music album” category.
