48 hours before the American presidential election, a new voice joined the support of Kamala Harris: that of Harrison Ford. The interpreter of Han Solo and Indiana Jones published a video in which he expressed his intentions.
“When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding the alarm, saying: ‘For God’s sake, don’t do this again!’, we have to pay attention. They tell us something important. They are not weak people. These are governors, generals, who stand up against the leader of the party they spent their lives defending (…).”
And the actor continued: “The truth is that Kamala Harris will protect your right to disagree with her on policies or ideas. And then, as we have done for centuries, we will debate it. We will work together on these issues and move forward. Trump demands unfailing loyalty, says he wants revenge. We don’t need to make America great again.”
“We are great, but what we need is to work together again. What we need is a president who works for all of us again. I’m Harrison Ford. I have a voice – like everyone – and I will use it to move forward. I will vote for Kamala Harris,” he concludes.
