Tomorrow Belongs to Us: Summary of the episode of November 8, 2024
François and Soizic learn the truth
François confronts Alain. He thought carefully and this story of a credit card lying around on the table is hardly credible. Alain admits to his son that he covered for Adam. He confides to François that Adam stole Soizic’s card, that he used it only once for a contactless payment. In his eyes, it doesn’t matter. François is not of this opinion. Alain tries to reassure him by affirming that Adam understood that he had exceeded the limits and that he will find the right path. François remains skeptical. Alain then insists that he not reveal anything to Soizic. If she finds out the truth, it will lead to conflict, and Adam doesn’t need that right now. François allows himself to be convinced. But a few minutes later, he received a call from Soizic. She did her little investigation and discovered that Adam had stolen her card to buy six packs of beer, which means he’s still going to parties. She is angry with their son and has decided to clarify things with Adam.
Fate is against Jordan and Violette
At high school, Lilou confides in Violette and Jordan. She feels alive again, because she is returning to a normal life. Violette and Jordan are delighted that she is back on top. Lilou walks away. Jordan confides in his girlfriend that he is very happy that the two of them are reunited because it has been a while since they had this opportunity. They have two hours for lunch break and plan to make the most of it. But Jack calls Jordan, because he is locked inside the apartment. Rayane took her keys and locked the door. Jordan is upset because he had planned something else. He rushes home with Violette to rescue his brother and finds Jack sitting on the sofa with Rayane. The latter finally answered the phone and came to rescue Jack. Jordan urges his brother and his boyfriend to get out of the apartment so he can be alone with Violette. But this hug is a little too short for their liking. Back at school, Violette suggests that Jordan go to her house. Fate continues to strike against the two lovers. Lilou informs Violette that she will go home with her to collect her things. His mother has just returned to Sète.
The predator soon to be unmasked?
Following his attack, Octave has wounds and bruises all over his body. Michael forbids his son from returning to the gym. He wants to know it’s safe. He emphasizes that without Mélody’s intervention, the situation could have been much more serious. He then goes to the school to thank Georges’ partner and assures her that what she has done is truly admirable. Mélody admits to him that she didn’t really think before throwing herself at Octave’s attacker. During the discussion, Michael learns that she herself was the victim of an attempted attack in this same neighborhood a few weeks ago. An individual tried to steal her bag by jumping on her from behind, but she defended herself. Mélody specifies that she did not file a complaint, contrary to Georges’ advice, because the attacker did not steal anything and she decided to turn the page. Michael hypothesizes that this individual was not interested in his bag. He informs Mélody that they are monitoring the gym because they think it is frequented by a serial rapist who is rampant in Sète. Then, he explains to Mélody the modus operandi of this predator. Mélody then reveals to him that she found a bodybuilding elastic in her bag, which does not belong to her. Michael asks him to come to the police station to make a statement and give them this elastic band.
Nordine, for her part, calls out to Antonin in front of the gym. The latter is dismayed to discover that the young man he attacked the day before is the son of a police captain. At the police station, Michael leads the interrogation of Antonin. The latter justifies himself regarding Octave’s aggression. He thought he and Nordine were complicit in locker thefts. He found it suspicious that they were hanging out in the locker rooms. So, he wanted to teach Octave a good lesson. Michael then informs him that he is suspected of being a predator. Antonin maintains his innocence and then admits to Michael that he is gay. He then explains to Michael that he does not accept his homosexuality.
Sara finishes packing her suitcase as well as Enora’s. They are preparing to spend a few days with Béatrice. However, Sara doesn’t really have to go, because she’s afraid her mother will realize something is wrong. Roxane is convinced that the support of those close to her is essential for the healing process and that it is necessary for her to talk to them about what happened to her. Sara makes her wife promise to be careful and not to come home alone, especially in the evening.
At the police station, Michael and Nordine make a few phone calls. Antonin’s lover testified that he was with him at the time of the attempted attack on Lilou, and his employer confirmed that he was working during the attacks on Rachel and Sara. Michael has no choice but to release Antonin. Plus, he wants to withdraw his complaint because the gym is the only track they have. He doesn’t want to draw attention to this club.
A few minutes later, Damien shares his findings relating to the investigation. The “MGTOW” sticker found in the gym was handcrafted. Its creator used ordinary paper, which he then laminated in a rudimentary way. The good news is whoever made it used model glue as the adhesive on the locker. This is the same glue found on Lilou Clavel’s clothes, which means that the rapist does frequent this gym. But that’s not all. Damien analyzed the paper of the letter found in Roxane and Sara’s mailbox. It comes from a scheduler. The predator’s next victim would therefore be a doctor.
In the evening, Roxane goes to the Spoon to see Bart and informs him that Sara has gone to Béatrice’s for a few days. She tries to make Bart believe that his wife has burned out. But the latter noticed that they had been behaving very strangely for a week and encouraged him to confide. Roxane ends up revealing to him that Sara was the victim of rape. Bart takes Roxane in his arms. In tears, she confides to him that she is afraid that Sara will never be able to recover from this ordeal.
