Sharing, exchanges, entertainment, these were the key words of Family Day organized last Saturday May 25. Throughout the day, the Villeneuve early childhood relay organized activities for parents and early childhood professionals. In the morning, future parents were able to meet childminders and have their questions answered. A conference “How do I go about using screens?”, a treasure hunt to discover the fauna and flora for 3 – 12 year olds, a musical show “sound and musical bath” and a time of board games in family, were on the afternoon program. Throughout the day, the APE offered a pancake stand.
This 1st edition allowed for exchanges and was certainly profitable for a large number of parents.
A show
The town hall and the RPE are organizing a “love stories” show at Place Saumade on Sunday June 9 at 11:00 a.m.
This is a free show for young children aged 2 to 10 with a duo of singer and deaf actress singing, to a text arranged, rapped, sung, slammed.
An exhibition
The exhibition “Small steps, big dreams” New perspectives on the profession of childminder, is part of the Global Territorial Convention of Ouest Aveyron Community, a system aimed at families, and the partnership led with the Relais Petite Enfance de Villeneuve. Its aim is to highlight the profession of childminder. This exhibition is made up of 25 photographs evoking the richness of the profession, the beauty of the bonds forged with children, and the fundamental role that these professionals play in the child’s development. Two photographers participated in the project, Sylvie Bosc and Emma Filhol, bringing their unique vision on the different aspects of the daily life of childminders. This exhibition can be seen at the Salle du Solier from June 10 to 27.
On Sunday, June 9, the show will be followed by the opening of the exhibition in front of the Salle du Solier.
