For the second year, the Robien Animation Committee, in collaboration with the Friends of Fine Arts, is organizing the Robien Plastic Arts Festival (FAR), which will be held from Saturday November 9 to Sunday November 17, 2024.

A participatory event, the Robien Plastic Arts Festival (FAR) brings together residents and traders who make their spaces and windows available to showcase around fifty artists, painters, sculptors, photographers, etc. A map will be on display all week in the Robien room and on the CAR website to plan your route through the neighborhood to discover the works. Alain Le Flohic, president of the CAR, specifies that a trace of Blanc de on the sidewalks will serve as signage for the exhibition in the neighborhood. An opening reception open to all is planned for Saturday, November 9, at 5 p.m., in the Robien room.

Tasting of homemade fars

The FAR will also be an opportunity to enter local artist studios and discuss different practices. Georges Le Texier (modelling), Claudine Pintard (engraving) and Hélène Thuillier (drawing) will pass on their passion through demonstrative workshops aimed at children, adults and schools. The culinary art will also be in the spotlight on Sunday, November 10, from 2 p.m., where everyone is invited to bring their best homemade far for a joyful tasting. Finally, on Sunday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a garage sale will allow you to hunt for equipment and works.
