After a successful first edition, the Lille University Hospital, LOSC and Lemahieu have decided to join forces again in 2024 with theoperation #JeMeTâte. They created boxers in order toencourage men at theself-palpation of the testicles.
Boxers to encourage self-examination of the testicles
Objective stated by the three entities: “raise awareness about the prevention and fight against male cancers. “Prostate and testicular cancers remain too often ignored topics, although they affect thousands of men each year. November, a month dedicated to men’s health, is an opportunity to open dialogue and encourage each man to become an actor in his health,” they elaborate.
The #JeMeTâte campaign, with the help of the artist Petites Luxures, also raises funds to fight cancer.
The three institutions together embody the expertise of specialist doctors, the strength of a national sporting platform and the commitment of an ethical company, carrying French know-how and manufacturing. Their limited edition boxer shorts are available in two models, offering a quirky prevention message while encouraging self-examination.
Beyond boxers, the prevention campaign will be deployed throughout the month of November with various actions.
