Trapped by a book. You didn’t think you’d see yourself there. And suddenly there’s no longer any doubt about it. You are disfigured, of course, disguised, of course, but it is you all the same. And it’s unbearable. We no longer count the personalities who considered themselves executed with the stroke of a pen. The recourse? Justice of course, to correct the page, seize the scandalous work, above all slay this scoundrel of a pen-writer. At the Saint-Gervais Theater in Geneva, before the Grange de Dorigny in Lausanne, Adrien Barazzone orchestrates this joust in Any intention to harm, a spectacle of which we do not lose a codicil, as it captivates, as it also fits our time, where everyone strives to present their image.

Why are we jubilant about being caught in this mousetrap? The intelligence of the words, the device, the game. At the second, the court enters. Mélanie Foulon is the judge, excellent as a cracked pythia in the mists of an indiscernible truth; Marion Chabloz is the writer in dire straits like the night owl scarred by the day; Alain Borek is his lawyer full of good activist conscience; David Gobet is the dry complainer like a pack of matches in his outraged suit. This quartet, which contributed with Adrien Barazzone and Barbara Schlittler to the writing of the piece, is wonderfully playful.
