Renaud: fifty years of career
Renaud Séchan, better known as Renaud, is one of the most emblematic artists of French song. Born on May 11, 1943 in Paris, he knew how to conquer the hearts of the public with his poignant lyrics, his hoarse voice and his inimitable style.
His musical career began in the 1970s, drawing inspiration from folk and rock trends. Concerts canceled because of his state of health?
After a short break in his musical career, Renaud made his big return to the front of the musical scene in 2023. The opportunity for him to reorganize concerts, a tour in which he revisits his greatest hits in a symphonic version. Indeed, the concert of December 6 in Alençon, at the Anova exhibition center, and that of December 11 in Besançon, at the Micropolis have just been canceled, without giving any particular reason. According to information from the newspaper La Voix du Nord, a third date could be cancelednamely the concert scheduled for December 19 in Dunkirk, at the Kursaal.
Concert cancellations that seem to be linked to the artist's need to take care of himself, rest and recover. Although the exact details have not been disclosed, it is believed that his health must come first.
