Singer Mariah Carey and actress Kerry Washington pair up in a comedic Instagram video aimed at reminding Americans to vote.
We first see the “Queen of Christmas”, Mariah Carey, dressed in red, pushing the first notes of her popular song All I Want for Christmas is You.
She is stopped by Kerry Washinton who, dressed in a t-shirt and cap reading “Vote”, tells the diva that it is not yet her season (the holiday season), but voting season.
“Did you sign up? Have you made a plan?”, asks the actress to the singer.
“I signed up and made a plan that I executed,” replies Mariah Carey, smiling.
“It’s my season before being her season,” adds the actress, addressing Internet users.
The actress from the late political series Scandal is a proud and very vocal supporter of Kamala Harris.
“All we need is you,” they continue, covering Mariah Carey’s classic Christmas song.
A few days ago, the subscribers of the singer and actress Selena Gomez were able to see their idol, who was on her way to a premiere, in a sequined evening dress, going to drop off her voting envelope in a post office box. She also encouraged her subscribers to exercise their right to vote.
The American presidential elections will be held on Tuesday, November 5.
