Taz Skylar reveals this tattoo designed by Eiichiro Oda

Taz Skylar is not only the interpreter of Sanji in the live version of One Piece, he is also a lifelong fan of Eiichiro Oda’s cult manga. After revealing what his favorite arc is in this interview, the 28-year-old actor posted his brand new tattoo in homage to Luffy’s story at the Straw Hat. And it’s not just any tattoo, since it was drawn by Eiichiro Oda himself! Indeed, the actor explained to the Youtube channel Seriously that he met the artist, and took the opportunity to ask him to imagine a tattoo.

I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo for a while One Piece. So I asked Oda if he could draw something specific and he drew this. Each part of the character’s body is a letter, and all these letters form One Piece.

As you can see in this zoomed-in photo of the actor’s tattoo, a small character is constructed with the letters of One Piece. Knowing that the character played by Taz Skylar, Sanji, is a cook who fights only with his legs, the location of this drawing near his ankle is full of meaning!

And you, what do you think of this tattoo? We’ll bet it’s going to give ideas to some fans of One Piece who also wanted to pay homage to the manga!
