“I want a vibrant Quebec”: Caroline Néron no longer wants to choose between the actress and the entrepreneur in her

Don’t ask Caroline Néron to choose between gaming and entrepreneurship. If she has already neglected the actress in favor of the entrepreneur, there is no longer any question of turning away from one or the other of her two main passions, interpretation and business.

“I need both. Probably I wouldn’t be as good an actress if I didn’t have my business. The truth is if I just played, if I had too many days off and I thought too much, it wouldn’t be good for me.”

“My business gives me the freedom to play,” recognizes the woman who also fulfills her creative impulses in the office, where she launches collections and advertising campaigns. She even started playing photographer.

“One day, I told myself that I would be less forward for my brand and I would like to be able to shooter my models myself. My daughter in The goddessKelly Depeault, agreed to do it!”

After many steps following the bankruptcy of the company bearing her name, which occurred in January 2019, Caroline Néron was able to recover it. It creates and distributes jewelry, makeup, various accessories as well as vibrators, but without the significant fixed costs that previously weighed down its financial results.

“I didn’t steal from anyone and all the employees were paid. It’s very hard on one’s pride to have to redo one’s name. There, I am in around sixty jewelry stores and gift shops in Quebec.” She was able to buy her business three years after the bankruptcy, an investor friend of her father having allowed her to relaunch it.

Since 1is Last October, the vibrators and masturbators it sells were consolidated into a separate company, called Libre et Assumé.

“Vibrators are what marked my return in people’s minds, but it had already been two years since I returned to jewelry.”

“It’s crazy, vibrators, I realize how many taboos there are, especially among couples. From owning a vibrator as a couple, I see that I affect couples by talking about it. I also love the customers I reach, they are women between 40 and 80 years old. We should talk even more about female pleasure, the importance of women’s sexual health. My goal is to help women, because they are the ones who have been most oppressed in their sexuality, but I also target couples, men, because there are so many homosexuals in my life! The pleasure of bringing an open mind… I want fewer frustrated people on the planet! I want a vibrant Quebec!”

She also wants to broaden her playing field and “go and deny the Canadian” with her vibrators, but there is no question of having exaggerated or international ambitions for the moment, she said in an interview.
