The Mad Max saga made its comeback on the Croisette with the Out of Competition presentation of the highly anticipated “Furiosa”. The opportunity to test your knowledge of this post-apocalyptic universe launched by George Miller in 1979.
While filmmaker George Miller had already presented his Fury Road at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015, the father of Mad Max once again made the trip to the South of France to celebrate the new episode of his famous franchise, Furiosa.
Anya Taylor-Joy, who plays the younger version of the heroine to whom Charlize Theron lent her features in the film with Tom Hardy, was, of course, also there, as were her playing partners Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke .

Jodie Comer, who became known for her role in the series Killing Eve, in which she played a professional killer, was approached to play the title role of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. In addition, Richard Madden (Robb Stark in Game of Thrones and star of Bodyguard) was also considered for a role in the film.
Immortan Joe in the game
Immortan Joe, big bad from Mad Max Fury Road, is present in this prequel in a younger version. In 2015, it was Hugh Keays-Byrne who lent his features to him. The actor died in 2020 at age 73. Lachy Hulme succeeds him in this fifth Mad Max.
