On May 16, rapper Rylo Huncho from Suffolk in the United States lost his life when he shot himself in the head while posting a video on Instagram, reports the New York Post.

In the images, we see the 17-year-old young man singing with a handgun to which a green laser sight had been added. While handling the weapon, he probably deactivated the safety without realizing it. After a moment, he aims the gun at his head and pulls the trigger.

A sort of explosion ensues and Rylo Huncho collapses to the ground. Suffolk Police have confirmed that a 17-year-old boy has died following an “accidental gunshot wound” to the head.

The rapper’s cousin created a fundraiser on the GoFundMe site to help the young man’s mother. “A suicide/accident was the cause of his death and we are still trying to understand why”the cousin told the American media.

In just a few days, the kitty had collected 2,800 dollars (or more than 2,500 euros) out of a goal of 15,000 dollars (around 14,000 euros), thanks to the generosity of many donors.

An accident, which, once again, revives the debate on access to firearms in the United States. But also questions the nature of the content to which young people can access on social networks.
