It’s a meeting for children, from 3 to 17 years old, and parents. The festival First reels is back for a fourth edition in Orvault, near Nantes.
On the program, “thrilling stories mixing explorations, magic and adventure”, announces the City. Films, workshops and shows will therefore be discovered from Saturday October 19 to Sunday October 27 2024.
“Discover rare films”
Among the films on display are for example On the other side of the sky, Nina and the secret of the hedgehog, Sirocco and the kingdom of drafts, Spring Tales et The peak of the gods.
Side spectacles, young audiences will be able to discover the epic of Karla wooden puppet, or even attend a concert drawn in watercolor, with Tularosa.
Workshops stop motion and animated painting, but also a series of short films will complete the festival program.
“The festival offers all Orvault children the opportunity to discover rare films and
aesthetic on a big screen. Films that make you grow, think and are also entertaining! Something new not to be missed this year with the special session concocted by the Municipal Youth Council for young people! », says Armelle Chabirand, deputy delegate for culture and youth.
All films and workshops are free, with a limited capacity. The shows are paying.
