The historic home is to be sold by Naussany Investments & Private Lending LL, in a foreclosure sale this Thursday (May 23, 24).

Elvis’ granddaughter, Riley Keough (34), is the current owner of this iconic residence. She contested the sale by filing a lawsuit, saying it was “fraudulent”. In a 60-page complaint, she claims that her mother never borrowed money from the company.

Riley’s mother and Elvis’ daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, inherited the property upon the King’s death in 1977, and it became a museum open to the public in 1982. Lisa Marie reportedly took out a $3,000 loan. $8 million in 2018, using Graceland as collateral. Now the company she borrowed the money from claims she didn’t repay the money before her death last January.

Riley Keogh became the heir to the estate upon the death of Lisa Marie Presley on January 12, 2023. She was named sole administrator of the property after a legal dispute with her grandmother, Elvis’ ex-wife Priscilla Presley.

Elvis, Lisa Marie, and Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin are all buried at Graceland. Priscilla Presley confirmed last year that she wanted to be buried next to her ex-husband, Elvis Presley, at the property when he died.
