From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., visitors are invited to come costumedto explore the garden and the permanent collections at night, focusing in particular on one of the master’s most famous masterpieces: The Gates of Hell (1880–1917).

It will also be possible to visit the current exhibition, “In-visible Bodies”, dedicated to the interesting Dressing gown study for Balzac. But also, above all, to participate in different activities. Among which are promising theatrical performancesled by an actor around The Gates of Hell (every ten minutes). Immersive experience, dance, writing workshop…

In the garden, beware of sensitive souls: the company La Petite Main has imagined a immersive experienceonly illuminated by lanterns between the shadows of tall trees… On the side of the pondUgolinthe Unity company will perform in a short dance show every fifteen minutes, to better bring the immobile sculptures to life.

In the rooms of the Biron hotel, it is the Spice Company which will continuously give voice to a performance story within the collections. At the same time, the temporary exhibition will offer a collective writing workshop (a nod to Balzac!), hosted by the Labo des histoire association.

A pop-up cocktail bar

The program is therefore rich, and comes with a studio phototo leave with a souvenir of the evening, as well as a pop-up cocktail bar run by L’Augustine, the museum’s café-restaurant. An evening that testifies to the democratization process of the museum, which we also know for its special Valentine’s Day evenings in February!
