Harry and Meghan Markle no longer had a base in Europe since their eviction from Frogmore Cottage, England.

In June 2023, Harry and Meghan Markle were permanently ousted from Frogmore Cottage. It was their residence when they were back in Europe. This house represented for them the possibility of easily returning to Europe.

According to the Daily Mailthe couple was able to bounce back by buying a house in Portugal. The British daily reports that the residence is located near Lisbon, in Melides. The region is well known to stars for its advantages, its landscapes and its mild weather. Sharon Stone, Gisele Bündchen, George Clooney and Cindy Crawford also have residences in Portugal.

This house is an opportunity for the couple to return more easily to Europe from the United States. They no longer have to ask for authorization to return to the old continent. It is thus a sort of visa that the couple has just offered themselves, a “ golden passport » which allows them to benefit from certain rights of European citizens, specifies the BBC.
