Bayonne Festivals: Friday July 12, at 6:30 p.m., white festival bullfight, three toros from Juan Manuel Criado and three from Monte de La Ermita for a mano a mano between Manuel Escribano and Borja Jimenez; Saturday July 13, at 6:30 p.m., bullfight on horseback, bullfights by Romão Tenorio for Pablo Hermoso de Mendoza, Léa Vicens and Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza. Atlantic Feria: Friday August 30 at 6 p.m., Garcigrande toros for Alejandro Talavante, Daniel Luque and Alejandro Mora; Saturday August 31, at 11 a.m., novillada stitched with novillos from Fernay for Lalo de Maria, Alejandro Cicharro and Pedro Luis; at 6 p.m., bullfight with toros from Castillo de Huebra for Juan de Castilla, Angel Tellez, Carlos Olsina, Manuel Diosleguarde, Christian Parejo and Victor Hernandez; Sunday 1er September, novillada without picadors and, at 6 p.m., toros by Zacarias Moreno for Roca Rey, Juan Ortega and Adriano (Adrien Salenc). The Cercle bullfighting in Mons provides education on Facebook
The Mons bullfighting circle publishes bullfighting information sheets for educational purposes every month on its Facebook page. This month, Internet users will find the “Traje de luces” (dress of lights) sheet, published in French, illustrated and very detailed. An interesting initiative which enriches the knowledge of aficionados and those who wish to deepen their knowledge. Reminder: every evening, broadcast of bullfights from the San Isidro feria in Madrid at the local circle, 21, rue Batelière, in Mont-de-Marsan, paseo at 7 p.m. (free entry).
Feria del Toro in Vic next weekend
The first important feria of the year in the South-West will take place on Pentecost weekend, in Vic-Fezensac. The program will be as follows: Saturday May 18, at 11 a.m., novillada piqué, novillos de Raso del Portillo for Alvaro Seseña, El Melli and Jesús de la Calzada; at 6 p.m., bullfight, toros by Celestino Cuadri for Fernando Robleño, Esaú Fernandez and Gómez del Pilar; Sunday May 19, at 11 a.m., bullfight competition, toros de Saltillo, Palha, Prieto de la Cal, Veiga Teixeira, Conde de la Corte, Pages Mailhan for Sánchez Vara, Octavio Chacón and Juan de Castilla; at 6 p.m., bullfight with bulls by Dolores Aguirre for Alberto Lamelas, Damian Castaño and Luis Gerpe; Monday May 20, at 11 a.m., novillada without picadors, novillos du Lartet for Pedro Rufo, Bruno Martinez and Juan de Morena; at 5 p.m., bullfight, toros de Los Maños for Morenito de Aranda, Román and El Rafi. The Toro cardeño peña in Vic
La peña Toro cardeño offers a bus trip to Vic-Fezensac, Monday May 20, during the day. Program for the day: at 11 a.m., novillada without picador, erales du Lartet for Bruno Martinez, Juan de Morena and Pedro Rufo; at 1 p.m., aperitif followed by a picnic; at 5 p.m., Los Maños bullfight for Morenito de Aranda, Roman and El Rafi. Price for the day: 65 euros, including bus transport from Grenade-sur-l’Adour, aperitif, picnic and bullfighting place. The morning novillada is added to the price of the day, i.e. 15 euros. The Riscle Cartel
The Riscle bullfight will take place on Saturday August 3, at 6 p.m. On the bill, six French toros from different ganaderias, Camino de Santiago, La Suerte, Pages Mailhan, Cuillé, San Sebastian and Turquay for Morenito de Aranda, Alberto Lamelas and El Rafi. In the morning, at 11 a.m., novillada without picadors with two novillos from Michel Barcelo and two from La Suerte for the students of the French Bullfighting Center.
