In Riddes, scenes from the musical life of photographer Joseph Carlucci

Among the legends

In a 14th century building hosting the La Vidondée arts and culture space, Joseph Carlucci has been unfolding a stage history of pop, blues and rock for forty-five years. Improbable looks, crazy attitudes and guitars in all forms permeate the photos, most of which were taken on Swiss soil. Clever accreditation-style badges act as cartels, providing all the necessary information. Developed for the occasion, this “general public” selection differs from that offered in 2021 in a beautiful work – now out of print – with more “metallic” tones, which was entitled Hey Joseph, where’s my fucking picture then??

Nearly forty years after having scribbled these words in the guestbook of the Lausanne merchandising boutique run at the time by Joseph Carlucci, the late David Bowie can rest in peace. This time, its fucking photo is there. Among the legends.
