The trailer for the musical film Our Sisters-in-Law was unveiled on Thursday and it promises to be a very popular event in the cinemas of La Belle Province.

The well-known story concocted by the great Michel Tremblay was adapted by René Richard Cyr, who wrote and directed the feature film. This will be released on July 11.

Produced by Denise Robert, who needs no introduction, and distributed by TVA Films, Our Sisters-in-Law is based on a dream cast and the music of Daniel Bélanger.

Geneviève Schmidt transforms into Germaine Lauzon, a housewife who won a million bonus stamps. To respond to her and help her stick on all these premium stamps which, she hopes, will give her access to happiness, we called on the interpreters Jeanne Bellefeuille, Valérie Blais, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Véronic DiCaire, Diane Lavallée, Véronique Le Flaguais, Debbie Lynch-White, Ariane Moffatt, Pierrette Robitaille, and Guylaine Tremblay. Of course, Germaine Lauzon’s luck will make people envious!

The cast is completed by Isabelle Blais, Benoit Brière, Guillaume Cyr, Charles-Aubey Houde, Yves Jacques, Steve Laplante and Maxime Le Flaguais.

The musical film also includes choreographies by Katerine and Alexandre Leblanc, aka TEAM WHITE, the duo who won the first season of the show Revolution to VAT.

Here we recognize the stars of the film Diane Lavallée, Pierrette Robitaille, Anne-Élisabeth Bossé, Debbie Lynch-White, Ariane Moffatt, Valérie Blais and Guylaine Tremblay.
