From May 9 to 12, Mother In Town is hosting the Kids festival within the Layup collective’s urban art exhibition

As part of the urban art exhibition, proposed by the artists of the Layup LayUp collective, which is held at 11-13 Bd Delacourtie, in the Saint-Michel district, in Toulouse, the Mother In Town association is organizing the festival Kids.

From May 9 to 12, the public is invited to immerse themselves in the world of children, where nearly 30 exhibitors from the kids world will be gathered in this ephemeral gallery erected within the halls (former Orange premises), made available by a real estate developer for the duration of the event. For 4 days, families will be able to enjoy an incredible experience, combining urban art and fun activities for children. “This new edition of the Kids by Mother in Town Festival in Toulouse is a unique event of its kind, which combines the creativity of urban art with the world of children,” confirms Jessica Mazelle, the founder of Mother in town. On the program: talks, sports initiations (street hockey, goose game, hip-hop dance, etc.), creative workshops (make-up, glitter tattoos, signed nursery rhymes, etc.), food court, pop store, etc.

Kid-friendly partner of the Lay Up exhibition, Mother in Town also offers, on Saturday and Sunday, street-art workshop residencies for children, until June 23, with activities around cake design, upcycling, risography and screen printing, macramé, Japanese bookbinding, special Father’s Day vegetable dye…

Access to the Kids Festival is completely free and open to all. from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This Saturday exceptional closure at 5 p.m., to make way for a Hip-Hop battle.
