Castanet-Tolosan. Creative crossroads at the Saturday market

Since May 4, the Argyroupoli market has taken on a new creative dimension!

From now on, every first Saturday of the month, the Saturday market in Castanet-Tolosan will host a space dedicated to creators. Come and meet several artists and artisans who will present their unique creations to you and discuss their profession with you.

The objective of this initiative is to expand the range of products available while creating a warm and family atmosphere, which is the hallmark of the Argyroupoli market.

For this first edition, you will discover original hats and bonnets, unusual musical instruments, beautiful pottery and even a specialist in furniture renovation. Luc Evans, economic development assistant, shares his enthusiasm: “This is a project we have been working on for a while. We want to offer residents a moment of strolling and discovery by highlighting our local artisans.”

Among the talents present, you will be able to meet Jeanne, passionate about crochet and creator of unique pieces in cotton, jute or hemp. Anne, a former English teacher turned potter, will reveal her creations stemming from her passion for the wheel and enamels. Don’t miss Matthieu, who transforms recycled gas bottles into incredible musical instruments.
