Disney recently confirmed that a third installment of the hit film series was in the works, but did not specify who would be in the cast.

In the video she shared, Anna Hathaway is seen counting to three, alternating with clips from the first two films where she and Julie Andrews say “Shut up.”

After counting to three, the 41-year-old actress said in turn: “Shut up (shut up),” before blowing a kiss to her admirers.

Commenting on the video, she wrote: “Miracles can happen. Back in Genovia with @adeleblim @disney @somewherepictures. The fairy tale continues.”

The first film “The Princess Diaries” was released in 2001.

Anne Hathaway plays the role of Mia, a 15-year-old teenager on the eve of her 16th birthday, who learns that she is of royal descent. Her grandmother, the queen of the imaginary land of Genovia played by Julie Andrews, wants her to take her official title of princess.

The second film, “The Princess Diaries 2”, was released in 2004.

In this second part, the queen wishes to abdicate and give way to her granddaughter, but she must get married to be able to reign.

Disney has not yet revealed the synopsis of this third part which will certainly be eagerly awaited by several millennials who have watched the first two films numerous times.
