Max arrives in France on June 11, with Canal+

Warner Bros Discovery launches its unified Max service in France from June 11. The Max service will be included in Canal+ Ciné Séries offers.

Max is Warner Bros. Discovery’s video-on-demand service, merging Warner Bros.’ HBO Max and Discovery Channel’s Discovery+ services. So, this platform brings together Warner Bros Discovery programs : successful series like House of The Dragon, The Last of US, Game of Thrones, and The Big Bang Theory, essential films like the Harry Potter franchise, The Matrix, The Dark Knight, Joker and A Star is Born but also critically acclaimed original productions (Succession, The White Lotus, Euphoria, True Detective, etc.), French productions (Une Amie Dévoué with Laure Calamy, Malditos, the adaptation of the book Living with Our Dead, etc.), youth programs, reality TV (90 Days to Get Married) as well as documentaries (The Jinx…).

Max will be available in 3 bouquets:

• Basic with advertising at €5.99/month with 2 devices simultaneously in Full HD
• Standard at €9.99/month with 2 devices in Full HD, 30 Offline Downloads and Warner Bros Discovery Theme Channels (Warner TV, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network, …)
• Premium at €13.99/month with 4 devices in 4K UHD + Dolby Atmos and 100 offline downloads

A Sport add-on module for €5/month brings Eurosport channels with 2 live broadcasts.

Max will be available on several platforms including Amazon Prime and operators Orange and Free. Thus, Amazon Prime Warner Pass subscribers will be migrated to Max Standard.

Max and the Warner Bros Discovery channels in Canal+ Ciné Séries

Canal+ has signed a distribution agreement with Warner Bros Discovery : Canal distributes the Max service in MyCanal and the group’s 10 thematic channels (Discovery Channel, Warner TV, Warner TV Next, CNN, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Cartoon Network, TLC The Lezarning Channel, ID Infestigation Discovery and TCM Cinéma) in its bouquets Canal+.

In addition to the Max Standard service, the 10 Warner Bros Discovery channels are joining the Canal+ Ciné Séries, Rat+ Ciné Séries, Friends&Family and Intégrale bouquetswithout price change.
