The 78-year-old Hollywood star has been dating Kurt Russell, 73, since Valentine’s Day 1983. The couple have a son, Wyatt Russell, 38, but never married.
During an interview with E! News on Friday (27Sep24), Goldie Hawn was very clear about the secret to her long relationship: “You have to have good sex. Because sex is something that connects you and creates more belonging…people who have healthy sexual relationships generally last much longer.”
“But it’s not just because of the act, it’s because of the warmth and intimacy it creates,” she added. “You have to be nice to each other on occasion. »
The Overboard star went on to explain that couples who hope to stay together for decades need to focus on other areas as well. About her romance with Kurt Russell, who stars in Tango & Cash, Goldie Hawn confided that they didn’t always see eye to eye.
