Nathalie Simard and Gino Chouinard were the guests of the show It’s a good end to the week.

The singer and host Nathalie Simard shared his experience on the set of my mother, your father. She expressed her closeness to the candidates, welcoming their emotional sensitivity. “They’re beautiful to watch evolve, and it’s refreshing to see men talk about their feelings. We women appreciate a man who is not afraid to express how he feels,” she said.
For his part, Gino Chouinard came to talk about a project that is particularly close to his heart: his book 3800 mornings. He explained the creative process behind this work, where he addresses personal themes such as professional burnout, his infertility and the trials his relationship went through.
“My wife, Isabelle, is a social worker, and she is aware of the challenges many couples face. She told me that my writings were very personal, but that they could also help other couples overcome their difficulties. I wanted to show that there are models of couples who have consulted and who have managed to overcome many challenges. “That’s why I decided to share my story,” he said.
A particularly interesting moment of the interview was when Gino and Nathalie revealed that they almost became a couple. “You know how she and I almost dated before? » asked Gino to the hosts of It’s a good end to the week.
Obviously surprised, Julie Bélanger et Jean-Michel Anctil seemed skeptical. “Are you setting up a boat for us?” asked Jean-Michel.
“No, it’s true!” I just made the wrong choice,” replied Nathalie with humor.
“It was at the time of Double challengein 1989. I was just starting out on television, while Nathalie was already a star. A colleague of mine was hovering around her, and I… well, I’m sure my dad would have been proud of me. I’ll say it like that,” Gino said with a laugh.
“For my part, I was a little more discreet. But the other candidate was much more demonstrative than me towards Nathalie. So, here’s the story: every time Nathalie and I cross paths, we remember that we could have been a couple,” concluded Gino.
This anecdote obviously took everyone by surprise, but it made the guests laugh, as well as the hosts of It’s a good end to the week.
