Friday October 4, reality TV fans discovered the casting of a new show in an unusual format: Reality Club.
Reality TV seems to be entering a new era. In recent years, the formats have been renewed, the issues have evolved and a new generation of candidates has emerged. Obviously, all these changes have won over the public! This one is not at the end of its surprises. After the Fifty and the many short programs of W9 – such as Super Mytho, Interview Uncut and more recently, The Cerveau – it is a live streaming platform which overshadows the M6 group channel and is revolutionizing the industry: OHO. Last February, Internet users discovered the first concept of the interactive platform: We Are Open. In this show, viewers had the opportunity to interact with the participants via chat. Unlike their predecessors, the protagonists of the program, who were complete strangers, had the possibility of leaving the filming location during the day, in order to attend to their personal and professional activities and/or obligations.
OHO launches a new reality TV show!
Faced with the success of We Are OpenOHO decided to repeat the experience. By maintaining its recipe, that is to say: filming the candidates 24 hours a day – with the exception of weekends – authorizing outings and giving Internet users decision-making power over the future of the participants; the streaming platform promoting the participation of Internet users returns with a new program: Reality Club. For this new format, the production called on well-known faces in the industry. Of the eight expected participants, only five were revealed on October 4 on the platform’s official Instagram account. From October 14, viewers will find Bastos, Beverly, Solène – currently broadcast on TFX in The Villa – Nathan – revealed in The Princes of Love – et Cindy Lopes (Secret Story 3) on their small screen!
Reality Club : what is the concept of the new OHO reality TV?
Housed in a Parisian loft, the eight participants of Reality Club will be under the surveillance of 44 cameras which will broadcast their every move in real time on the streaming platform. Every Friday, the candidates will meet for the bonus to designate the eliminated of the week. But by giving power to Internet users, participants – who will have the right to invite some of their loved ones to the loft – will not be safe from good, or bad, surprises!
