The third edition of the National Festival of the Mohamed El Jem Prize for Youth Theater ended on Saturday evening at the Mohammed V theater in Rabat, in the presence of an audience of personalities from the world of art and culture.
Placed under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this cultural event was organized by the “Friends of the Mohamed El Jem Theater” in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication.
Thus, the jury of this edition, chaired by the writer Mohamed Mustapha Kabbaj, decided to award the Grand Prize of this edition to the play “Nostalgie”, performed by the Aqua family troupe from the city of Laâyoune, written and directed by Badr Saoud.

The Prize for Hope (female) was won by actress Dounia El Mouradi, for her role in the play “Koulha ou Fahmo” by the theatrical animation group from the city of Dakhla, while the Prize for male hope went to actor Rachid Benomar, for his role in the play “La Cave” by the troupe “La cala Junior” from the city of Guelmim.
The Female Interpretation Prize is awarded to the actress Douaa Hakoumi, for her role in the play “Exil” of the Sada Fès association for artistic creativity, while the Male Interpretation Prize was won by the actor Anas Tabit, for the play “Taline” by the Oum Er Rabia Club of the Fkih Ben Salah Theater.
The Scenography Prize was awarded to Mohamed Zarkan (La Cave), the Composition Prize went to Abdelfettah Achiq (Taline), while Ayoub Bouchan won the direction prize for his play “La Cave “.
