Saturday morning, in the Parc de Thouarcé room, 25 members of the Thouarcé Solidarité association gathered for their general assembly.
Odile Beillouin, president, and the members of the council presented the activities of the past year: knitting cafés, sales of pancakes and pancakes, the cultivation and sale of potatoes, the recovery and sending of glasses .
The association also presented and commented on its actions: food aid, mobility aid, aid in Burkina Faso, emergency aid in Maine-et-Loire as well as in Pas-de-Calais. following floods and bad weather.
Estelle Bernaudeau, manager at Initiatives emploi, underlined the importance of the links forged between the two associations, specifying how many people in integration say they are grateful to be helped thanks to the good transport put in place since 2023. “Free” help made possible thanks to to the investment of volunteers. Odile Beillouin reinforced this aspect: the members of our association are very involved, each in their own field, this makes it easier to respond to requests for help
.
The activities, actions as well as the financial report have been validated. The forecast budget was presented and commented on. In accordance with the statutes, three members, representing a third of the board of directors, stood for renewal of their mandate and were all re-elected.
