In November 2011, against Soprano, Martin Solveig and David Guetta, La Fouine won the European prize at the MTV Music Awards in the Best French Artist category. A ceremony which took place that year in Belfast, in Northern Ireland, La Fouine therefore quietly brought his trophy home.

A few years later, in 2014 to be precise, while the clash between La Fouine and Booba seemed to have calmed down, B20 published on its networks a photo of its protégé Benash, former member of the group 40000 Gang, in possession of a trophy of MTV… that of La Fouine. All accompanied by a boobaesque caption: “#truestory #92i #avecnouscestjamaisfini #bab”.

The circumstances remain quite vague but by cross-checking the information, we can quickly return to the starting point of this event. According to the media 13 Or du Hip-Hop et Rapunchlinesit was the rapper from , Chabodo, for the first time at the end of 2013 who appeared with the La Fouine trophy after several disagreements with the latter. In 2017, we seem to learn more about this story in the Kamoss Production TV show. It’s Chabodo himself who returns to this episode:

“I emptied his studio, his gold record, I took everything […]I told my guys that I had a little matter to settle and that was it. If I did this act it was so that he would come to me, that way I wouldn’t go looking for him. […] After that it was settled, I told him ‘mind your business’, we had a discussion and things got back to normal.”

Further proof of the circumstances surrounding Booba’s post would therefore be Chabodo who certainly made Booba, Benash and his team eat La Fouine’s MTV trophy. More recently, in 2024, La Fouine and Booba seemed to begin a reconciliation after the strong return of the rapper from Trappes.
