The singer slipped into the shoes of a journalist for an episode of the series Captain Marleau broadcast this Friday, October 4 on 2. This evening he was the guest of “C à vous” to share his experience.

From singer to actor. He is not the first to make this shift – proof of this is with Nolwenn Leroy in Brocéliande – more David Hallyday chose to take on a new challenge by playing one of the main roles in a unit of Captain Marleau on France 2 this Friday October 4. The one who tried his hand at comedy, in 1987 in He’s My Girl or for a quick appearance in Hunger Games in 2015, was the guest of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine on the set of “C à vous” this Wednesday October 1st.

At his side in public service fiction, the emblematic actress of fiction: Corinne Masiero . And the 60-year-old woman wanted to send a special message to Johnny Hallyday’s son. “Comrade David to the report. Hello puppy (small in ch’ti Editor’s note) ! I wanted to give you a big hug and thank you for these moments we spent with José and you and all the friends on set because the whole gang was very happy to meet you”she began, facing the camera, in a short video addressed to her filming partner.

“And then me too. Because you are really a caring guy, you are a very nice playmate. You are a great actor, very very good actor”she insisted. And to continue: “It was honestly a joy to meet you, so I know we’ll probably meet again before long.” But the actress did not settle for this formula out of pure politeness. “I don’t know, something tells me that…”she said, suggesting a future new collaboration before concluding her video by reiterating: “I’m giving you a big kiss.”

“It matched straight away”

A message which did not fail to make David Hallyday smile, but also to touch him. “But are you blushing or not?”columnist Emilie Tran Nguyen put her foot down. Note that the guest decided to take it in a joking tone by feigning surprise. “Thank you Corinne! We got along really well in life too. And it’s true that it’s a slightly improbable duo when you think about it, but it all came together well, humanly, through the scenario too. We really had fun,” he admitted to Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine.

David Hallyday then quickly set the scene for the story. “We’re actually playing with, what’s supposed to be in the script, being childhood friends who come for a weekend. And from the first meeting with the other actors and actresses, it’s true that it clicked straight away.” A good understanding, not always obvious, which allowed him to fully flourish in his role as an actor. “It allowed me to be comfortable in this role which is new for me because I haven’t always done it. It was great to work with professionals like that”he concluded.
