Launched in Stockholm in 2017, Wine Star List is an online guide that studies, classifies and then lists the best places to taste good wines in all countries of the world. Thus, Belgium, like its neighbors and countries on other continents, is the subject of an annual ranking of the best wine bars, the most beautiful sparkling wine lists, including the lists offering the most sustainable and of the best lists classified as ‘short’ or ‘long’ depending on the number of wines offered on the menu by Belgian restaurateurs.

A Brussels address stands out
In the latest ranking available, the site highlights Restaurant Racines. The establishment of chef Ugo Federico, known for his top-notch Italian cuisine, also seems to be a haunt for lovers of fine wines. Indeed, the Brussels address won the gold star last year for the ‘Best Medium-Sized Wine List’, i.e. the best medium-sized wine list, a qualifier for lists offering 200 to 600 references . But the address also won the ‘Best By the Glass List’ prize, the best list for wine by the glass, which is not always easy to find when you like to order your wine one glass at a time. .
