Since Friday September 20 and until Monday September 30, the International Fair, held at Parc Chanot, in the 8th arrondissement, brightens up the city with a life-size party.

Yes, the 2024 edition of the Marseille fair marks the 99th edition of this emblematic event. And in the Algeria pavilion, present in force every year, a 100% Algerian artisanal brand is causing a sensation among visitors.

Among the Algerian exhibitors who marked this 99th edition of the Marseille Fair, let us mention Thala, the Algerian artisanal cannery which is not its first attempt.

The brand particularly shone at the Salon de l’Agriculture, with its Mechouya Salad voted product of the year, then at the Fair where it won over both with its products and the incredible atmosphere it created around ‘She.

Thala creations also amazed us during the JO from Paris at the Africa Station, seducing the members of the legendary rap group Wu-Tang Clan.

This time, it is in Marseille that the teams from the artisanal cannery set up shop, at the Algerian pavilion. The Thala stand, which advocates “ the flavors of the sun in a jar » is always full thanks to varied tastings which allow visitors to discover the know-how and delicacy of Algerian craftsmanship.

« Algerian products are a hit! El Mordjene opened the way for us at the head of the line, and we are following her! », Announces a representative of the brand. She explains to a visitor: “ Thala products are quality. Everything is natural. These are Kabyle women who produce this. When you look at the composition, there are only ingredients found in the kitchen, and nothing chemical ».

On the menu: mechouya salad (hmiss) with a basil variation, sweet and spicy chakchouka, Berber harissa, as well as condiments such as Mlila’s pink garlic puree and oriental nut-coriander pesto. The brand even produces its own olive oil.

For all these products, the Thala cannery only uses good vegetables from the Algerian region, vegetables cooked over a wood fire before being potted. Impeccable quality that consumers happily attest to:
