The controversy crossed Belgian borders. The show “Quotidien” returned to this sequence.

Friday September 27, “Quotidien” broadcast the “Grand Cactus” sequence deemed transphobic.

In the “7:30 p.m. media” presented by Julien Bellver, the French journalist spoke about the controversy which shook up RTBF this week.

Last September 19, during its return to school, the “Grand Cactus” wanted to make a parody of the title “On se être la main” by Nicolas Sirkis and Chris. The sketch did not appeal to viewers or associations for the defense of transgender people. The sequence went viral on social networks. It even crossed our borders. Belgian and French Drag Queens condemned the sequence, as did the singer from Indochina. RTBF finally reacted and explained that a discussion would be held with associations fighting against transphobia.

The controversy therefore made noise, in too, until it landed on the set of “Quotidien”.
