Gilles Fontaine (Patrick Bruel), a self-confident billionaire who has earned everything, is suddenly worried by the law. She suspects him of having acquired his magnificent property on the Côte d’Azur, Villa Caprice, by slipping bribes to a politician. To get him out of this bad situation, the businessman calls on the formidable Maître Germon (Niels Arestrup), a devious and brilliant lawyer, a star of the bar yet consumed by loneliness and bitterness.
A strange relationship between Germon and Fontaine
A strange and adulterated relationship develops between the two men, with Albacore spending more and more time Villa Caprice where Fontaine’s wife, Nancy (Irène Jacob), fades away. Passionate about sailing, he also takes advantage of Fontaine’s boat, on which is an attractive skipper with whom he seems to be rediscovering a taste for life.
