It’s impossible not to have spotted them or not to have wondered about these strange gatherings of cameras, vintage vehicles and other police officers from another time here and there in Perpignan. The filming of the series “Les Disparues de la gare”, directed by Virginie Sauveur, ended after three weeks spent in the Pyrénées-Orientales with a final day of shooting this Thursday, April 25, 2024 in the Moulin district. Advent. A little behind the scenes.

“Silence” “Engine requested”… “Action!” This Thursday, April 25, the film crew of the series “Les who disappeared from the station” set up their cameras near Rue de Taulis, in the heart of the Moulin-à-Vent district in Perpignan. Sitting in a van with a windshield camouflaged by curtains, Camille Razat, Hugo Becker and Patrick Timsit, the cops in the film, are hiding around a thermos of coffee. Hugo Becker sticks his head out of the door for a make-up touch-up then settles back in to rehearse his line in front of a friendly Patrick Timsit. Camille Razat, gun in her belt, goes downstairs and, while the hairdresser readjusts her cloth, exchanges with the director Virginie Sauveur who, like a rigorous conductor, strictly does not let any detail slip by. “Come on, let’s do it again!”

For hours on end, they will replay this scene while the extras reposition themselves and get back into action to walk along or cross the street at the desired moment, while the cinematographer scans the sky every two minutes with his contrast lens. to anticipate the movement of the clouds and adjust the brightness, under the gaze of the inhabitants of the area who gathered at the foot of their building to better catch some snippets of the spectacle. A few steps away, a pretty young woman with curly ebony hair, patiently on an armchair. Then gets up to walk in front of the camera with a carefree look. One of the missing no doubt… “Cut!”

For now, we will not know more about the scenario.
