A 59-year-old man found himself stuck in a tree after losing control of his paraglider during its descent in Cap-Santé in the middle of the afternoon.

The police intervened around 2:45 p.m. in the area of ​​rue Langevin, in Cap-Santé, for a person in distress.

When they arrived, they found that the man had lost control of his paraglider.

A rescue operation involving a Sûreté du Québec helicopter was necessary.

The police remained in constant communication with the paraglider.

The Sûreté du Québec does not fear for his life.
