“Health is fine,” reassures the singer first, who announced that he had stopped his treatments. “There is no more treatment. Not even immunotherapy. We realized one day that it wasn’t working, there were relapses, we gave up.”

Use of Chinese medicine

“When you are affected by this disease that we call the crab because it clings on, it keeps coming back, even if for a while the treatments do their job well, it has a tendency to come back. For me, it came back twice after the first, so that makes three times,” he says.

The singer is now relying on plants and Chinese medicine as a treatment. “Lately, I have been more supported by Chinese medicine, and it is the one that gives me the most satisfaction for everything that can be associated with it and because of the treatments. Since they are plants, it is not bad. I found a good doctor, he gives me the right treatments and he manages the developments that can occur,” he confided.

Back in The Voice

The singer had given an update on his health in a video posted on Instagram in mid-August. “My hair has grown back, my stomach too, a sign of good health. Over the past year, I’ve had four check-ups which are good and stable. But after two relapses, we know that we shouldn’t cry victory too quickly,” he explained.

Florent Pagny will return to “The Voice” as a judge next season.
